Save People, Save Mother Earth By Bin Nur Asi Magangcong Every day, I wake up like money is all I ever need. I am currently finishing my course, Bachelor of Secondary Education in one of the prestigious universities in the Philippines, aside from that, I'm a part-time worker as well as a house caretaker. I have to wake up early--day-to-day; to sweep floors, mop tiles and collect garbage in the house I am doing part-time on. I guess I'm tired—tired of being poor maybe? but I need to graduate. Help my mother achieve her dream shop, and siblings to finish school. I cannot give up. Even the thought of having a future family? They will suffer if I don’t work hard today. I am hungry. My stomach crumbles and because of it my head hurts. But the worms, rats and cockroaches on the garbage I’m about throw out are in the verge of satiety. Cakes, chocolates and crackers as well as juice and milk? They have everything. I wonder how many people in the world watch worms, rats and cockroach...

It was a significant afternoon where joy is inevitable to her, to me and to all the graduates of that remarkable point of their lives.
